Delaying or Cancelling Your Fibre Installation with Faro Internet

If your plans change after placing an order—whether you're not moving in yet, just visiting, or waiting for faster plans to become available—Faro Internet offers flexible options to suit your timing.

🕒 Can I schedule my installation for later?

Yes. If you're moving into a new property later in the year or on a specific date, just let us know. We can:

  • Schedule your Chorus technician appointment for a time after your arrival.
  • Hold the order until you're ready to proceed.
  • Cancel and refund your current order if you're not sure when you’ll return.

🔄 What happens if I need to cancel?

If you'd rather not lock in a future date, we can cancel your order and process a full refund. When you're ready, simply place a new order through our website—no hassles.

⚡ Will the new fibre terminal support future upgrades?

Yes. Even if Hyperfibre 8000 isn't currently available at your address, the new ONT (Optical Network Terminal) we install will be future-ready and compatible with higher-speed plans like Hyperfibre 4000 and 8000 when Chorus makes them available.
