Using Your Own Router with Faro Hyperfibre

You can use your own router with Faro, but:

• Ensure it supports VLAN tagging and DHCP WAN configuration.
• Set VLAN ID to 10 and enable dynamic IP (DHCP) on the WAN port.
• Connect the router to port #1 of the ONT.

🛠 Common setup:

• WAN type: DHCP
• VLAN ID: 10
• Ethernet cable from router’s WAN port to ONT port #1
