Stay connected and earn your setup fee back

Effective 28 July 2026

Stay connected.
Earn your setup fee back.

Pay the standard broadband setup fee when your service is connected, then earn its full value back as account credits when you stay with FARO.

12

After 12 months

Get 50% back

Receive an account credit equal to 50% of the setup fee you originally paid.

24

After 24 months

Get the other 50% back

Receive a second account credit equal to the remaining 50% of your original setup fee.

No lock-in and no early termination fee

There is no fixed-term commitment. If you leave before reaching a bonus milestone, you simply do not receive the bonus associated with that milestone.

How the bonuses work

1

Pay the standard setup fee when your broadband service is connected.

2

Stay continuously connected for 12 months and receive 50% of your setup fee back as an account credit.

3

Stay connected for 24 months and receive the remaining 50% back as a second account credit.

Each bonus is earned separately. Receiving the 12-month bonus does not require you to remain connected until month 24.

Retention bonus terms

Eligibility

To qualify, your broadband service must remain continuously active, fully paid and in good standing until the relevant milestone date.

12-month bonus

The first bonus is earned after 12 complete months of eligible continuous service and equals 50% of the setup fee originally paid.

24-month bonus

The second bonus is earned after 24 complete months of eligible continuous service and equals a further 50% of the setup fee originally paid.

How credits are used

Bonuses are applied as credits to your FARO account and can be used against future broadband service charges. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another customer.

Cancellation before a milestone

A bonus is not earned if the service is cancelled before the relevant milestone date. No partial or pro-rata bonus applies.

Moving address

Moving address will not reset the qualifying period where FARO agrees to transfer the existing service and continuous eligible service is maintained.

Suspensions and overdue accounts

A temporary suspension, overdue account or change to an ineligible service may pause or reset the qualifying period. We will explain the effect before the change is made.

Closing your account

Any remaining account credit when the FARO account is closed will be handled in accordance with the customer agreement and applicable law.
