What to Do if Internet Doesn’t Work on Connection Day

If your internet is down on the day your service is supposed to start:

  1. Check the ONT:
    • Ensure the optical light is solid (not blinking).
    • Router should be connected to port #1 of the ONT.
  2. Verify Router Settings:
    • WAN set to DHCP
    • VLAN ID set to 10
    • Restart the router after confirming settings.
  3. Still no connection?
    • Let us know your router model so we can provide tailored instructions.
    • If the ONT’s optical light is blinking, Chorus may not have completed provisioning — we can check this on our end.
