Can I Delay My Internet Installation or Order for a Later Date?

Yes — at Faro, we understand that moving timelines and property access can change. You can delay or cancel your installation order at any time before it's provisioned.

🏡 Moving In Later?

If you're buying a new home or not planning to move in right away:

  • Let us know your preferred installation date.
  • We can check Chorus’ availability and book the earliest slot after your move-in date.
  • If no one is living at the property yet, we can arrange a technician visit once you’re ready.

📦 Not Ready Yet?

If you place an order but later decide to postpone or cancel, just contact us. You have two options:

  • Reschedule the installation to a later date (e.g. end of the year).
  • Cancel and request a refund, then reorder when you're ready — we’ll make it simple.

🔌 What About the ONT?

If a new ONT (fibre terminal) is needed for Hyperfibre:

  • We’ll arrange Chorus to install one.
  • The terminal we install now will support future upgrades, including up to 8000 Mbps, when available at your address.
