Where Are Faro Internet's POPs Located?

Faro Internet is currently based in Wellington and our main POP is also located there. This means all traffic from other cities, such as Auckland, routes through our Wellington infrastructure before reaching the wider internet.

⚠️ What Does This Mean for Customers Outside Wellington?

If you're based in Auckland or other regions, you may experience slightly higher latency (e.g. Auckland → Wellington → Auckland). While for most everyday uses this won't be noticeable, customers sensitive to latency — such as serious gamers or those hosting services — may observe a performance difference compared to local POPs.

⏱️ Already Switched But Want to Revert?

No problem. If you've already been ported over but decide to return to your previous provider:

• Initiate the switch-back request through your old provider.
• There's no cancellation fee or contract lock-in with Faro Internet.
